LESSONS
At Spiderfingers Guitar Studio, lessons are individually
designed to meet the instructional needs and artistic goals of each
student. Whether you are a beginner wanting to establish a solid technical
foundation or an advanced student who may need greater challenges and
instruction, this is the studio for you. At Spiderfingers Guitar Studio
you can study any musical style, such as rock, classical, flamenco,
jazz, blues and funk. Lesson are taught using the Spiderfingers books
as well as other material. Specific technical studies include legato,
tapping, finger picking, alternate picking, and sweep picking, Phrasing
and bending will also be studied within the context of learning how
to improvise and do solo work. Other elements of study include ear-training
of intervals, scales, and chords, sight-reading in all positions of
the neck, and composition.
LESSON INFO
Lessons are available in-studio Monday through Saturday. Rates are competitively
priced at$25 per half hour and $35 per hour for private instruction,
payable weekly in check or cash. Family rates are available, and monthly
payment is accepted. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy: If you
call in advance to cancel, your lesson will be rescheduled, if not,
